Silva was an amazing driver. His priority was always driving safely around a very busy country with tight roads.
He also adapted the schedule to suite rest days and changes to places that we wanted to visit.
His knowledge on the country is golden and his tips for seeing elephants, visiting gem shops and beautiful beaches on the island was perfect. He goes out of his way to create special memories for you which makes him more than just a driver.

Had an amazing tour with Silva!! He showed us Sri Lanka through the knowledge and experience of a local! He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and accommodating. We got to see so many amazing aspects of Sri Lanka over our 4 day tour which Silva planned meticulously. Our favourite part was definitely hiking up to the Diyaluma waterfall and seeing a weak only baby elephant during ur safari. Couldn’t recommend Silva for your Sri Lanka tour more!!

We hired a taxi through Lion Lanka Travels for three days in Colombo and Negombo, and had a great experience overall. Our driver, Silva, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the trip. He doubled up as our informal tour guide, sharing interesting insights about Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and current affairs, which made our travel all the more engaging.
I was travelling with my elderly parents, and Silva was attentive and mindful of their needs throughout. My father uses a wheelchair and often preferred to stay in the car during certain stops, and Silva engaged him in thoughtful conversation and ensured he was comfortable at all times.
